Hello there!
Thanks for reading all the way to the end!
Here’s a little about me:
My name is Ritamarie Cavicchio and I run this blog.
I am vlogging on YouTube with the same name!
I love to blog about a company called Cricut and all the wonderful machines they make that allow me to better craft my little world.
I’ve been crafting my whole life, but using Cricut machines since 2012 when my uncle asked me to celebrate the lives of a few beloved family members. From that one request, I was completely hooked on the Cricut brand! Back in 2014, the Cricut CEO chose me to be a Cricut Product Expert and I am the founder of three very popular Cricut-based groups on Facebook.
When I’m not blogging about my Cricut, I am “mothering” my son–aka “MO”–and my spunky Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ted E. Bear.
I am a native Bostonian and live in a beautiful old house on Boston’s North Shore. I especially love exploring my wonderful city. I’ve been a Peabody-ite for the last 20 years of my life and while I might be a little biased, I think is one of the most amazing places to live, work and raise a family. PBD!
I am self supporting, so if you are interested in buying anything made by Cricut, please use my link: https://www.shareasale.com/u.cfm?d=403859&m=51766&u=1089398 When you use the “Miss Rita To The Rescue!” link and code MISSRITA2 you will receive an additional 10% off and free shipping on your order of $50 or more (some exclusions apply)!
Thanks so much for watching today! Best always, Miss Rita

Ask anyone in my family and they will tell you, I’ve been a card maker for many, many years!
It was only recently that I started using a Cricut machine to make my greeting cards.
Having a Cricut machine to accurately cut all of my card pieces takes a lot of the guess work and frustration from making cards, which has pushed me to new card making challenges.
Today’s video is the second in a series of tutorials about card making with your Cricut and explores many variations of my all time favorite kind of card–the Box Card.
Wondering what a Box Card is?
It’s a card that uses the shape of a box to make a 3D Greeting Card that folds up for easy mailing. One of my favorite designers–Mary from SVG Cuts–has taken the concept of Box Cards to a completely different level that I call her designs “Thinking Outside The Box” Box Cards.
In this video I show you a collection of cards from SVG Cuts called “Easter Box Cards”. These five cards are just one grouping of Box Cards from Mary that demonstrate how you can make exquisite cards with just a few pieces of paper, your Cricut and some glue!
The files that Miss Rita uses to make this card were purchased from SVG Cuts (SVGCuts.com) and an easily be replicated using your own Cricut machine.
These projects are NOT available for purchase in Cricut Design Space, but they can be uploaded to your canvas after purchase.
Once uploaded, you can cut all of the pieces expertly on your machine.
